Joga
This is not a yoga for athletes program. This is not yoga postures modified for a “tighter body.” Joga is a 3 dimensional neuromuscular movements system that adheres to how athletes move and train. It is a combination of dynamic and static positions that are cohesive to the bio mechanics required for sport.

What is JOGA?
JOGA is a 3 dimensional movement system that combines the science of yoga breathing + relaxation with the biomechanics of sport. JOGA focuses on stability and mobility, increasing range of motion, core strength + balance. Movements are designed with the kinetic understanding of functional movement and biomechanics. Each session is coached with specific anatomical cues to find symmetry in the body to operate with higher efficiency + lower effort for high performing individuals. Active recovery, injury prevention and creating an overall ecosystem of health and wellness are just a few of the key benefits of the JOGA program!
Three Pillars of JOGA
-
Movement
-
Breathing
-
Relaxation/Meditation
Each JOGA session incorporates all three pillars of our foundation. We always begin with a breathing session to balance out the central nervous system. We work the right side then left side of the body to activate digestion so athletes are maximizing the nutrient absorption in their bodies. The cuing system helps increase range of motion as well as incorporate eye movements for neuro-mechanics + activation. Sessions conclude with a breathing relaxation / meditation techniques to ease anxiety and focus the mind. All you will need for the sessions are a yoga mat and water, we work in our bare feet! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions in advance! Can’t wait to meet you on the mat!
